Have I told you that I love Grey’s Anatomy? To death.
In season 7, Christina went on this emotionally-unavailable mode because of the post-shooting trauma. Everything she has ever loved about her work completely evaporated, and she simply couldn’t connect. It’s like knowing that she has to get from point A to point B but she just forgot how. And there was a scene after she quit where she was wildly dancing while unpacking, took a pair of scissors and chopped off Callie’s hair, went to the mall and bought a whole shop’s worth of furnitures. It was like she completely lost her marbles. Something snapped and a whole bunch of crazy just came out pouring. I could actually relate to that perfectly.
Never an episode of Grey’s without some good ol’ emo moments.
“We are all looking for answers. In medicine, in life, in everything. Sometimes, the answer we are looking for had been hiding just below the surface. Other times, we find answers when we didn’t even realise we were asking a question. Sometimes, the answers can catch us completely by surprise. And sometimes, even when we find the answers we’ve been looking for, we’re still left with a whole hell of a lot of other questions.”
